Gas-to-Oil Price Ratio

I don't really know what this means, but the ratio of the price of gas to that of oil (on a per-volume basis) has been acting really strange lately:

    The denominator went to zero, ok $30 from $140 per barrel. The volatility is mostly in the price of oil

    We see these sorts of things when systems become unstable, esp in nature when populations are highly stressed.
