  1. Through the magic of divergence free flow, if hot air surges north, somewhere else cold air surges south.

    Like in Ohio, which has been chilly.

  2. As near as I can tell, Albuquerque has had only one day, ever, that was hotter than that (June 26, 1994). Is that an official weather site, or someone's backyard station.

  3. That's an official number, from AccuWeather. Wednesday it reached 108 F for a high.
