Marjorie Taylor Greene is Crazy and Perhaps Even Dangerous

I was going to post something about MTG, but now I realize I'm not interested in writing it up. I'm not interested in much these days. She stalked and taunted Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez even before she (MTG) was a congresswoman. Extremely immature and childish and of course no Republican will care, since they are now all cultish cowards.

  1. It's all designed to get clicks I guess. I'm not sure where this leaves reasoned debate, but maybe that ship sailed a long time ago.

  2. Off topic. I just read a very early example on writing about global warming. The Swedish proletarian writer Ivar Lo-Johansson traveled to England in 1928 to write about the horrible conditions in the coal mines, and in the book "Kolet i våld" (As far as I know not translated to English) he brought up how burning all the coal would heat the planet at an alarming speed. As google translate it:
"If you could ignite and burn all the carbon that is now stored in the earth on the surface of the earth, enormous amounts of carbon dioxide bound in the buried forests would be released and we would probably see the mercury piles on our thermometers rise at an alarming rate, not only in England and Sweden, but at the top of the icy polar regions. "
(Automatic translation is getting reasonably good).

It seems Arrhenius discovery reached outside academic circles early on.

  5. I haven't read that book, although I have read some other by Lo-Johansson, but there was a story about it in Aftonbladet:

So perhaps you should give that as a source.

Some of the writers described as proletarians are fairly well known and give good descriptions of the life of the poor in Sweden a century ago.
