Lots I should be blogging about, but for the moment this will have to do: a goalie who knows where the shoots are going a second before the other team shoots them.
But goalies are very good at anticipating where you’re going to shoot. Often, they’ll leave a hole to encourage you. The art of shooting is to figure out where they do not expect you to go.
They’re brilliant saves no doubt.

That would fit.
ReplyDeleteHoltby is expecting the shooter to aim at the hole and moving a limb to fill the hole as the shot is made.
I suppose the shooter's countermeasure is to telegraph a shot to the hole, and then shoot through the new hole that opens up as the limb moves.
