Wow: GISS March Temperature
NASA GISS says
March 2010 was +0.84°C above their baseline -- a very high number and second only to 2002's +0.85°C. (It dwarfs 1998's +0.56°C.)
This is surprising, given that the recent El Nino already
appears to be waning
.
Moreover, NASA GISS's records
peg
2009's climatological winter (Dec 09 - Feb 10) as the second warmest, after only 2007's.
