COVID19 In US and Blogger's Ineptitude

I was going to put up a post about an increase in COVID19 cases in the US, with an accompanying graph, but Blogger's rendition of the graph is so ridiculously lousy it's almost useless. Look at this piece of crap:

How embarrassing, Google. Just to save a little space on your servers? Embarrassing to me as well. If you're not going to allow presentation of decent illustrations, what's the point of having a blogging platform at all?

I think we need to stop caring about increase in COVID19 cases in Canada and USA - at least once everyone has had the opportunity to get vaccinated.

Those who chose to get vaccinated will be largely safe from the more serious impacts. Those who are not will have made a choice.

Time to move on.

I would agree except...the unvaccinated population will be a breeding ground for new variants that the vaccinated population may not be immune to.

I'm already reading about vaccinated people getting sick (but not needing hospitalization) from the delta variant, which is apparently moving fast through the unvaccinated population. And now there's a delta+ variant.

Yeah. It sucks. But what's the end game? Force people to get vaccinated? Continue to live in limbo? I don't know. I'm about done.

Maybe "sick but not needing hospitalization" should be our goal.
