Yes. Maybe it's the '60s that were the anomaly.... I think (not sure) I had read before that the future solar cycles were going to be like this last one, very small in sunspot number, but maybe that's not going to happen.
Tell me more about the "normal number" of sunspots. Clearly you have no idea what you are talking about. Our sun is variable, from the limited data we have on sunspots shows no "normal number for the last 300- years. If fact cycles vary greatly from zero sunspots to over 250. There is no normal sunspot number just bad writers.
