Ted Cruz on Texas Rains and Climate Change

Convenient:
Asked about the role of climate change in the floods, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz declined to weigh in Wednesday. "At a time of tragedy, I think it's wrong to try to politicize a natural disaster," the Republican presidential candidate said during a news conference in San Marcos after surveying damage.

Oh, indeed, a informal ban on discussion of the possible causes of natural disasters is as non-political as congress's seven-year, official ban on the causes of gun violence. (Since rescinded in a 2013 executive order, which may well have been reversed by congress in the intervening months.)
