"Despite the frequent accusations from climate alarmists and journalists, we never receive a dime from the fossil fuel industry, and Google has made certain that our ad revenue fails to cover the cost of publishing WUWT. In fact, now they have doubled down, and announced they are going to cut off any website that publishes any doubt about catastrophic man-made global warming. Thomas, not only that, but I think the fossil fuel interests sometimes use middlemen like the Scaife Foundation and similar foundations whose names escape me now to hide their donations to Heartland and other organizations.

How do I convince Google to remove ads from videos that I like to watch? I'm about sick of playing whack-a-mole with those obtrusive interruptions.
And the first wail comes from ...

Anthony Watts.
"we never receive a dime"
Don't waste too many tears on Watts. Heartland financials were leaked only once. On that one leaked document it was found:
"...cash recipients include Anthony Watts, the leading US climate sceptic blogger, who is to receive $US90,000 for his work this year."
Perhaps that was the only time he received fossil fuel funding, but it's still more than a dime.
Thanks Phil. That quote comes from here:

Thanks Layzej. Yes, enough of a haul for a lifetime's corruption.
Layzej, technically Watts spoke the truth. That's why you use middlemen like Heartland to launder the money.
