A Little More Ice Up Top

PIOMAS results for January find that Arctic sea ice volume is actually larger than a year ago, which would be a deviation from the trend....

A deviation, sure, but the trend has deviations like this all the time. Lou Grinzo has a perhaps more illustrative pair of graphs.
